How to add an image to a PDF

Put a logo on an invoice, a photo on a form or a stamp on a letter: insert any PNG or JPG into a PDF, move it and resize it, then download. Free, in your browser.

Open PDF Studio, freeNo sign-up. Your file never leaves your device.

Add an image to a PDF in 5 steps

  1. Open your PDF. Go to pdfstudio.mrxamjad.com and tap Open PDF, or drop the file on the page.
  2. Choose the Image tool. Your device's picker opens. Choose a PNG or JPG. Other formats your browser can display, such as WebP, are converted automatically.
  3. Position and resize it. Drag the image where you want it. Corner handles keep its proportions. Use the opacity slider for a watermark-style logo.
  4. Layer it. Use Bring to front or Duplicate from the panel to put the same logo or stamp on several pages.
  5. Download or print. Tap Download. The image is embedded in the PDF itself, at its original quality.

Frequently asked questions

How do I insert an image into a PDF for free?

Open the PDF in PDF Studio, choose the Image tool, pick a PNG or JPG, drag it into place and download. No sign-up and no watermark.

Can I add a logo to every page?

Add it once, use Duplicate to make a copy, and drag each copy onto the page you want.

Which image formats are supported?

PNG and JPG directly. Other formats your browser can show, such as WebP or GIF, are converted to PNG when you insert them.

Will the image lose quality?

No. The image is embedded at the resolution you chose. Shrinking it on the page does not discard pixels.

Is my PDF or image uploaded?

No. Both stay on your device. PDF Studio does all the work inside your browser.
