Is PDF Studio really free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no page limit, and it is open source under the MIT license.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDF is opened, edited and saved entirely inside your browser. It never leaves your device, which makes PDF Studio safe for ID documents, bank statements and contracts.
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
Yes. Choose Edit text and tap a line. PDF Studio covers it with the page's background color and gives you a text box with the same words to retype. The new text uses the closest built-in font. Step-by-step guide.
How do I sign a PDF?

Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in Chrome and Safari on Android and iPhone with touch controls, and on Windows, Mac and Linux in any modern browser. Nothing to install.
Can I add images, logos or stamps?

Will the downloaded file be a real PDF?
Yes. Text is saved as real, selectable PDF text with embedded fonts, and images are embedded at full quality. It is not a screenshot of the page.
What can't it do yet?
It can't match the exact original font of edited text, type Indian scripts like Hindi or Tamil, or work offline as an app yet. These are open issues on GitHub, and contributions are welcome.
